The MPIO ONE is now available in the US. The ONE is MPIO’s flash based PMP supporting MP3, WMA, OGG, WMV, MPEG, AVI, and DiVX (with software conversion). The miniscule player sports a tiny 96 x 64 pixel 65k color OLED screen. Other features include photo viewing, text viewing, folder browsing, and Auto Sync encoding.
The player is PlaysForSure compatible but will work as a UMS device, making it PC and Mac compatible. Beside all of the standard features found in most players the highlight of the MPIO ONE is the Wolfson 8750 audio processor, the same audiophile grade chip found in the Qoolqee K7. This alone makes it worth the $169.99 price tag for the 1GB player. It also comes in 512MB for $129.99.
