For those of you who use Creative’s music management software, MediaSource, you can now purchase music online through Sound Buzz music store. Creative has had a “Coming Soon” screen under the music store tab for quite sometime, but now you can purchase tracks for your typically for $.99 and albums for $9.99. However, the services is currently only for Creative MP3 players.
According to Creative’s Technical Marketing Engineer they are currently working on a new version of the MediaSource software with a “cleaner and sleeker user interface” along with a more consistent design. The music store and media player market is crowded. Can they set themselves apart from the rest? Time will tell.
