Engadget got their hands on one of those novelty candy dispensing MP3 players and they have been kind enough to give us a mini review of the player. They state that the build quality “feels a little cheap and flimsy” and would consider it to be more of a collectors’ item. Don’t worry they did purchase two. The other is still mint fresh in the package, one day destine for eBay. I love this comment by an Engadget reader who received his today as well: “I’m 100% sure I will break the little hinge lid that covers the battery slot…” That poor plastic man doesn’t even stand a one percent chance. But hey… what do you expect from a toy?
At 100 dollars it is priced the same as the iPod shuffle. So, if you want to make a statement and not join the herd the Pez MP3 player is a sure bet.
