O Cube Mobispeaker – A Cube for Your Cube

o cube mobispeaker O Cube Mobispeaker A Cube for Your Cube

As citizens of the US, we really get the short end of the stick when it comes to cool gadgetry. Here is another case in point, the Mobispeaker, a self powered portable speaker. The speaker is a mere one inch by one inch by one inch cube that pugs directly into your MP3 player and is rechargeable by USB. The phono jack also tucks away for easy storage.

The O Cube sells for 22,000 KRW which is roughly 23 USD. However, it is unlikely that we will ever see it for sale with the “$” in front of the price.

Wow. I can’t imagine that gets very loud, but it sure is pretty.

Maybe the guy should call it ANYTHING BUT AIR or ANYTHING BUT PLANET EARTH … it’s an intersting psychological study when because something is “popular,” there are a group of people who need it, want it but refuse to buy it as some proof of their “intelligence” or taste … it’s hilarious how they are willing to look off any defect (it’s really thick and the battery tends to fall out … but buy it!) of these “other” players but everything about the ipod is a defect … iPod, it’s not proper English! You have designed a nice site even if all your readers need psychiatric help …

Bub on February 4, 2006 4:15 AM

wow. are you offering to pay for the help?

I’ve been searching around, and I don’t think anyone has actually used this thing yet (at least not people that speak English). I’m very interested to know how it performs.

If anyone finds a way to order it, please post it here. I’d love one!

Just wondering, but has anyone besides me seen mobiBlu skins?I currently have two pink ones, from an eBay seller who’s apparently linked to the Korean division. He offered the speakers about a month before they were released official here, which were immediately bought on eBay.I was hoping if I could get them easier, like, US-side.

@rbelkin I don’t refuse to buy an ipod because it is popular. I don’t like that my mp3′s have to go through itunes. I shouldn’t be forced to install software to put files on any player. Also, I will never buy itunes DRM ridden music.Itunes and ipod are good for a common users that don’t need to think about how to get music on their player and are only using standard music formats, no .oog files. If you don’t know what an .oog file is then don’t bash people here, your the ignorant one. Stay on your iTunes site with your DRM music.
