Lenovo Easy Cube M500

levono-easy-cube-m500.jpg

Lenovo, the same people that bought IBM’s ThinkPad personal computer business, has released an MP3 player in the shape of a cube. The cube measures 70mm x 70mm x 70mm, a bit larger compared to the smallest cube MP3 player, the MobiBLU cube at 24mm x 24mm x 24mm. The difference is the Levono Easy Cube contains a built in speaker and a slot to add your own SD/MMC memory card. This cube runs off of 4 AA batteries and supports MP3 and WMA files through drag drop UMS. The player sells for around fifty bucks. Since Levono has roots in the US we may see it stateside, but don’t hold your breath.
