8GB Creative Zen V Plus Is Official

zen-v-plus.jpg

Thank goodness for competition! Warm on the heels of its adversaries’ high-capacity flash player offerings, Creative announced last week that the Zen V Plus (ZVP) is now a member of the previously exclusive 8GB club. Rubbing elbows with the Sansa e280 and new iPod Nano, the 8GB ZVP will come in glossy black with a red accent when it hits retail stores in Singapore this month for S$429 (about $270). And if red isn’t your color, the Creative Online Store is currently selling a blue-accented exclusive
version
of the player for the same fistful of Singapore dollars.

Pricing and availability in other parts of the world are currently unknown, but rest assured that it is coming to the United States…eventually.

More competition in the 8GB range is always welcome…. it really is a tiny player… though I think iRiver has just broken the Lilliputian barrier with their new itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny…..

This is old news. I appreciate this site, I really do, but recent posts have been about a week later than when the news hits other sites. You need to stay relevant to survive, and the dearth of new reviews, feature articles and being late to providing breaking news just isn’t cutting it.

Sorry guys for the slow news recently. Up untill recenly it has been only myself running the site so it has been hard, dealing with a full time job and a personal life, ect… however, Jenn from pocketables.net has joined me in the last few months and she has been great. But i have not been pulling my weight recently. The site will be going though a transition for the better within the next month. You can expect up-to-date news, exclusives, and more reviews in the next few weeks from Jenn and myslef.Thank you all for reading…
