Punk-pop singer P!nk has made her way onto another consumer electronic. And this time it’s not one made by Sony, who already released a pink PSP and Memory Stick Micro in association with the star. No, this time around, P!nk has teamed up with German company TrekStor (makers of the Depeche Mode player) to announce the 1GB and 2GB i.Beat P!nk. Available in Germany at the end of November, the player will come in two variations (pink/silver with white LEDs and black/silver with pink LEDs), both preloaded with images of the singer that can be viewed on the player’s 65K-color TFT display.
The i.Beat P!nk supports a yawn-inducing assortment of audio codecs (the most thrilling one being WMA-DRM) and features an FM radio, unspecified movie player, and “dictation machine” (I guess “voice recorder” is no longer considered politically correct). The players will retail for about $125 and $165 and ship with a pair of Sennheiser headphones.
