iriver clix2 release iriver clix2 Now Available in Korea

Last week, iriver Korea began an elaborate countdown of the days leading up to today’s release of the clix2 everyone ogled at CES. The player is oddly just being called the “clix” over there. Aside from that, though, everything else is still the same: 2.2-inch AMOLED, better video playback, and of course that wafer-thin design.

Details on the 8GB model are suspiciously absent, but the 2GB and 4GB models are priced (too high) at about $170 and $213, respectively. The good news is that if you do spring for one of the players, iriver can already hook you up with a bunch of accessories.

Where’s the logic? Is it too expensive to launch a product worldwide?… or do they believe that some products won’t fit in to the market in some countries?

It will be launched in the U.S. in March of this year…. the 8GB version should follow in approx. April

the first clix was s0o nice.. i kinda dont like how they rounded it and widened it.. it looked really nice with its box-like look but i love how its slimmer.. and it looks sexy as hell.if only it were about $200 or $230 for the 8gigs i wud take it in a heartbeat.. ill just settle for the 4 maybe. cant wait!

The AMOLED display, first developed by Samsung is amazing. It can be seen extremely clearly in any angle of 180 degree.
