We’re not sure why it didn’t hit Korea first, but the iriver X20 will soon be up for the taking in Japan.
Beginning on February 23rd, the 2.2″ screened player, which supports MPEG-4/WMV and iriver’s standard set of audio formats, will sell for $157 (2GB), $191 (4GB), and $250 (8GB). Not too shabby for a pocket-friendly (3.88″ x 1.93″ x 0.58″) device that packs in a lot of features (FM radio, voice recorder, photo viewer) without sacrificing battery life, which is rated at an impressive 22 hours for music playback.

Hmmm… A line in, or mic socket on the eisde there? Would be a good thing to have. Never got the clix, as I didn’t want to have to have the huge ass dock with me to use the feature…

I have an iPod Nano and iRiver S10! But I now prefer the iRiver. It’s simple to use, light and small! The display is crystal clear, and by my non-expert standards, has great sound quality. I absolutely love it.I’m sure the X20 will be excellent! Not sure how much will it be?

X20: $294 AU for 8GB version at JBHiFi Melbourne. Very impressed with all the features, cept the battery life, but thats why you can get a spare!

I really, really, really, really, really want this player. I though the Sansa e200 was good! The X20 aces it! Who would pay AU$299 for a 4gb nano when you can pay AU$296 for a 8gb X20 with a 2.2inch screen!

x20 is pretty good much bettr value than ipod nano. this one is more stylish too with more features..

Does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations about ordering the x20 overseas? I live in Canada and many of the iRiver devices are unavailable here or in the USA. I’d like to order from Australia or the UK. Has anyone had problems with this? Thanks!

I dunno, the sound quality wasn’t as good as i thought it would be, the bass clashes with another sound and it becomes distorted at times.But apart from that the player is good, crystal clear screen, speakers etc…

I currently purchased one of your product, iRiver X20, about 2 weeks ago..and yesterday I was putting some musics on through USB, and I unplugged it, the message said it was “building Library” and so on,, so I waited for 5 minutes, and I stillsaw the same message (frozen), and now all it displays is that message,,, so I turned it off taking off the battery,, and i switched it on to see if it works,, however, it still said the same message and in addition to that, there it also said “Initializing” on the buttom of the “building library”. it’s all frozen.I don’t Recommend this piece of shit.. only 30% of gettin the proper one.. a lot of people are complaining about this piece of dogshit..http://www.misticriver.net/showthread.php?t=53016purchased in Japan when I visited there for holiday,,, i chose it because it was ranked Number 1!!! #1 MY ASS!! rly,,, buy iPod,,, cant trust cheap korean electronics…

@FuckiRiverSame thing happened with me, I bought it, went home put about 1gb of songs on it. Worked fine, really was enjoying it but the next day I put more songs on it, unplugged it then I have the same error as you. I took it back and they gave me a new one, exact same thing happened.I’m going to go tomorow to replace it for a t60 or get a refund.
