No, I don’t think it’s a joke. I was strolling through walmart and saw this player. The packaging looked pretty impressive, so I picked one up since i needed a new inexpensive mp3 player. Surprisingly, I really liked the music. The interface was pretty basic, which is great for me. I didn’t really like the flag cover, but the player came with a free white cover! The new cover looks pretty sleek and I happen to like the feel of silicon.

We just opened my sons. It was a christmas present purchased from WalMart. Instead of haveing an AC adapter it had a piece of paper saying to get the included charger you had to register your product. I went to the website and it says it is no longer accepting registrations. The player will not work with out the charger. Im taking it back.

i recieved this mp3 player for christmas as well, and mine didnt come with the charger.but im good when it comes to electronics and found out that if you hook it to a computer using the usb cable, it will charge.

i got mine for christmas as well and you know i like it for an mp3 player its an easy interface the cover is nice and sound quality is quite nifty. i dont like the built in speaker i am sure they could of put in more memory instead of a mini speaker and i think that the interactive flag that waves to the beat of the current song is nifty but one should have the option to change it to something else. i am a proud american but the choice of preloaded songs is quite poor they needed actual patriotic songs not james brown reciting some drunken speach about being a poor shoe shine boy. and trisha year wood singing about xxxs and ooo. over all its a good player. for the price. but you get what you pay for.

Co-worker just got one and is having me “the tech guy” play with it. So far, for the money it doesn’t seem that bad of a little player. The sound quality is decent, however the user interface is a little funky compared to other players I’ve used. Only downside I’ve found so far is that it didn’t like my Invader Zim wav files.As an adult, I wouldn’t choose it as my primary DAP. However, for younger children or for situations where a better, more expensive player would be put at destruction risk “my skatepark riding” this player does the job quite well.
