Sansa Clip Modded into a Grenade

mp3grenade main Sansa Clip Modded into a Grenade

Our favorite little player got crammed into a once live grenade. The project creator Matt said that this genuine “decommissioned training grenade” was indeed a legal purchase in the state of New York, but stressed the purchase a bit. He used a 2GB Sansa Clip, but I think a Sansa slotPlayer may have been a bit of a better choice. The MP3 grenade is something that will surely turn some heads or alert the authorities walking around in any city. Just don’t scream “detonating!” when pressing the big red button used to change tracks. Getting though airport security should be a bit of a challenge as well.

Let’s hope the local bomb squad members don’t walk their dogs near anyone using this….lol

Hmmm, bad idea. Just imagine if they caught you with that at school. Even if you yell al them it’s an MP3 player they won’t believe you until it’s already too late.

Fantastic litte device for leaving you with ringing in the ears……so nothing has changed there then….but actually expensive….it must have cost a bomb

What’s a “gernade”?

Zen on January 21, 2009 11:48 PM

at kyle: a gernade is the thing that the private in stripes was holding when the captain really wanted to blow something up :)

Cool, a suicide bomber can now listen to his favourite music before killing himself. Nirvana indeed.

I was down at a surplus store in Galveston, and they had a whole shelf of ‘safe’ grenades for about 10 bucks each. Also I’d buy that.

wow. (insert bad pun here). they probably just made this to count the number of jokes people post about it.

Probably not a good idea to use this in public no matter how benign it actually is. Remember the guy who was shot and killed just for running away from UK police in the metro? Yeah, I think this would end similarly. Cool idea though. Wonder what else you could cram in a grenade? Grenade cel phone? Grenade beard trimmer?
