Looking for a high end case for your Zune HD? Noreve has you covered as always. If you read this site with frequency you see that I review a lot of Noreve cases and I always have good things to say about them. The materials, fit, and function are always top notch for all of their cases I have seen first hand. The case for the Zune HD is no different. Having said that it certainly comes with a price tag to match the quality. Read on below for some more thoughts and photos on this Zune HD case.
The Zune HD fits snugly in the case with little interference on the edges. This is important when using the touch screen when typing on the on-screen keyboard. The case snaps securely shut but will need to be opened each time you need to adjust so this might be a downside if you are constantly adjusting your volume and still want to protect the face of the Zune. However if you are not so concerned about dropping your player the flaw can be snapped backwards nicely tucking it away while you user the player. This also comes in handy when you want to view videos in landscape mode. But keep in mind that it sits perpendicularly to the surface with no tilt.
The cases come in many custom colors and finishes. Of the standard leather (“Perpetual”) 12 colors are available. The “Ambition” leather comes in three colors: black, brown (pictured in this review), and grey. This has a bit more of a leather texture finish compared to the other colors. The “Exceptional” collection of 4 colors (grey, tan, pink, & blue) is a suede leather texture. This is my personal favorite. The “Illumination” collection of black, bronze, and platinum colors is newer to the line and is a shiny smooth texture.
The prices on these cases are at the top end of cases but do keep in mind you are getting what you pay for- I high end case with a selection of colors and finishes to personalize your Zune. These prices range from 36 Euros to 46 Euros. Noreve recently closed their US store but still ships worldwide from their main global store.
