Samsung Galaxy Player 50 Preview

samsung galaxy player 501 Samsung Galaxy Player 50 Preview

Our French based Samsung Forum moderator lebellium got his hands on the new Galaxy player and has shared some of his thought and photos on this upcoming Android 2.1 player. Some of the nice things is that unlike the Phillips GoGear Connect you do have full access to Google’s applications and Marketplace.

Some of the other niceties include integrated microSD memory, Bluetooth 3.0, A GPS, and G-sensor. He mentions in another post that the faith of the US release will depend on European sales, so we have our fingers crossed. Check out his thread here and the Galaxy Player forum for more info.

Looks good, but it still could use (as Iebellium mentioned) a Super AMOLED screen. Me likey tho,….

Finally Android MP3 Player is coming out! This has such high performance that you can no longer call this MP3P.

Great step in the right direction. However, will it have any hardware sounchips? rockchip? srs? Made in china or korea?
Looking forward for this player being released.

This player is made in South Korea. I think there is no special hardware. If that is what you’re talking about in your comment.

re: Daniel Eriksson

Most Samsung MP3 players have SRS so I would hope this one will carry on the tradition.

I currently have a Samsung MP3 with SRS and enjoy the music quality.

Most Samsung players use DNSe, or SoundAlive, as of recently. SRS is a thing of the past, only found in iriver players nowadays. SRS is rather bad sounding in comparison to the competition, such as BBE.
