Well I assume you've read the thread about the steps on how to replace the hard drive and get the ZVM up and running again? I just looked on your profile and saw that your from Australia so sorry but I don't know where you could buy the Hard Drive cheap. Try inputting "MK1011GAH" into google shopping and then select sort by price lowest first and pick the first one that looks reputable, that's what i had to do. I would do it for you but I don't know what the address for Australian google is lol

sad news tho, the hard drive is dead, but I'm looking to get a 100GB HDD like you!
any help, tips, pointers on where to buy and what i need would be greatly appreciated, thanks man!

P.S, if its any consilation, I have pulled apart my Zen V M 60GB many times b4 and know how to take out the HDD and have tried also putting the HDD sealed in a bag in the freezer etc,, but yeah, besides, i'd love more space :-D
