Well, I went back 5 pages and did an advanced search at the forum here and didn't see this. Of course, I'm sure that just means that I didn't search quite hard enough. :o Anybody game on getting a thread going with all our favorite ZVM wallpapers?

Here's where I'm keeping the wallpapers I use on my ZVM:

Some are new, some are old. Some I found on other ZVM sites, some I found on graphics sites, some I found on photo sites. If I can find some of my own stuff, I'll add it. (Yes, take 'em if you want 'em. :)) I do update this site periodically, and you can use any of the wallpapers in it for your ZVM if you like.

(I wasn't sure if it'd be kosher to post several thumbnails at once, so I just posted a URL for now.)

If you have something to add, please do... and if not... it was fun anyway... ;)

I was sure we had such a thread before, but it might have been on a different forum. As far as thumbnails are concerned, I don't think it'll be a problem. I'm sure EnzoTen will correct me if I'm wrong. :eek:

Definitely, swipe anything you want. I was looking around for some of my own photos of San Francisco but I moved recently and the disc is in one of about 50 boxes. :o

And by all means, if you find anything worth posting, please do!

Wow, those are great! A nice variety of images. I've been using my fractal images for my ZVM wallpapers, as well as screenshots from a computer game. Thanks for sharing these! :)

Been digging up some of my older wallpapers to add to my gallery. Everything's 640x480 or therebouts. There's about 12MB in there now. I also flipped everything over to photobucket, as it seems to be a tad more stable. Enjoy!

It's a shame there isn't any way to change the font style on the player or have text show up on a translucent background. So many of those backdrops are very beautiful, but would make reading text really difficult.

Yeah, I wish for that, too - as well as being able to make the bar (what's that called?) at least semi-transparent.

Mostly right now, I keep everything with white text. Most of my backgrounds have been the cities and sunsets ones, and that tends to be okay on them.

You can adjust the brightness of your background picture. I turn my brightness down quite a bit and it helps a lot to be able to read the text.

I've found that its best to resize them to 320x240 using a good program like Photoshop or ACDSee because the ZVM doesn't resize them well even from 640x480. It would be cool to have a random wallpaper of the day like the DJ random stuff.

I use Irfanview and just pretty much left them at 640 so anyone who wanted to could resize them further if they wanted. I agree about the random wallpaper. It'd be cool if it would change itself every x minutes/days.

Does Creative Zen Vision support GIF?Animaed pictures or not?Cuz i cant transfer GIF pictures to my player.

No, GIF is not supported.

if you are transfering the .gifs using creative's media explorer it will convert them into a .jpg

Ah to bad=/! It would be awsome if you could have an animated picture as your wallpaper=D!

yeah, altough im sure the ZVM counldnt handle that many things at once..
but it would have been nice to just be able to view the animated pictures..

Maybe it's just because I'm a minimalist kind of girl who loves simplicity, but I think having animated backdrops would drive me completely to distraction!
