I've been working on this for quite a while, but haven't really gotten it to a release-worthy stage just yet...

So I'm being a jerk and only showing off some pictures of the theme in action! :P

http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/841...3011je4.th.jpg http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/537...3006cd7.th.jpg http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/8335/dsc03009gl1.th.jpg

As you can see, the main menu is very much inspired by the Zune menu - the music player hasn't any real inspiration.

With any luck I'll post the theme eventually! ;)

drtogi 03-03-2009 04:39 PM

looks amazing!!! As you said, stop being a jerk and post it :)

MegaZoneEX 03-04-2009 01:41 AM

looks good! :D!

New features in it!

I've added a stopwatch... Which I HAD working at one time, but lost that save by accident, so now all it is a bunch of buttons and a dynamic text field.

And, even better news... the link to download is below. :)

if you find a bug and it's not too obvious, then post it here and I'll try fix it.

Any constructive criticism is more than welcome. :D

Read the read me... Pretty pretty please :P

Looks very nice!!
One thing however... Is it possible to to move the "Back"button a little bit further from the edge of the screen?? I have trouble pressing it. That's also my main problem with the standard theme.
So if you can do that it would be great, if not it's still a nice theme!!

dongxboi 03-05-2009 03:24 AM

the pictures seem to be cut off

dongxboi 03-05-2009 03:25 AM

yet very nice i like how the buttons are big

ThisIsMySeriousFace 03-05-2009 12:32 PM

Nice theme, but the stopwatch doesn't seem to work, or is that just me?

Commander_Keen 03-05-2009 05:38 PM

Nope, it isn't just you...

I might of phrased above that the stopwatch doesn't work yet in an unclear manner, so let me say now that the stopwatch DOES NOT work yet; so refrain from posting that. ;-)

I am working on the stopwatch now nonetheless.

I'll post an update in a bit. :)

drtogi 03-05-2009 11:40 PM

thanks for posting it.
One problem I found is that while looking at then list songs in any given album the indicator of the number of songs seems to be out of place. Normally it is all the way on the bottom, but with this theme appears to be jammed in between the titles.
And does the theme kind of slows down the spinn?

marvin1207 03-06-2009 02:33 AM

Hey guys i've just installed it, umm i think the pulling down the clock thing is quite coool xD but the "now playing" needs some fixing theres stuff overlapping info e.g. "play/pause button" on top of artist name and hwer did the back touchy bit go o.o anyways looking for the new update of your theme i'll rate it 6/10 ;D could be better!:p

Commander_Keen 03-06-2009 03:37 AM

marvin1207, are you using firmware 2.1 (you should be)??? If you are, press the album art and it will expand and all those nasty errors will go away.

drtogi, I've fixed that... Sorry I'm not on my computer right now so I can't post it :P

All information is enclosed in the nifty little readme :P

marvin1207 03-08-2009 05:50 AM

hey i've just installed the new update why does seem to be lagging more than the old 1 during the main menu???

Twin2 03-08-2009 01:00 PM

Canīt you create a sketch note theme for iriver spinn version 2.10, itīs was a very, very cool theme. Here the older version for sketch note http://content.iriver.co.kr/ct_conte...Cate=&idx=8897

Best Regards Twin2

Twin2, there is a very easy method of making themes compatible with firmware 2.10.
Open the theme you want to make compatible (you'll probably need a flash decompiler first - and flash) , click on the very top frame, the one with the actionscript in it, then in the actionscript menu, replace where it says themeversion "2 0 0" or similar (sorry I can't entirely remember) with "3 0 0".

But a drawback is that the new features in FW 2.1 aren't used in this.

Here's a very large update...

I've added a movable analogue clock and a stopwatch and changed the menu thingo that I put in from being drag-down to just press it and voila.

To exit the clock, press the clock, then place another finger or something somewhere away from it on the screen and let go of both, may take practice. :P

Portrait mode I already know is kind of buggy, the widget menu overlaps things sometimes, I'll fix that later...

And here it is!

marvin1207 03-27-2009 05:29 PM

Hey nice theme would you be able to move the clock a bit lower so that its easier and are you gonnna do anything for the icons at the menu.

MegaZoneEX 03-28-2009 07:47 PM

hmm i'm intrested in how do u make themes for the SPINN? what program?

Commander_Keen 03-28-2009 10:35 PM

MegaZoneEX, to make themes for the SPINN, you need Flash CS3 or CS4 (the template that iriver gives out is formatted for CS3).

Then you get the SPINN theme template and edit away! You can't do too drastic changes to the way it works though, because that's built into the SPINN...

That's why the overall way it works remains the same with themes.

But, I'm working on trying to change that! :P
