(Zen Lock) - Accelerometer Based Lock
1 Attachment(s)
I didn't feel motivated to work on my Tower Defense game tonight so I made this instead.
Basically it's an application that if the Zen is moved it will sound an alarm. Someone requested it in the Application suggestion thread and it sounded like fun. It has 2 drawbacks. First is that if you have headphones plugged in you can't output to the speaker. So you must have the headphones unplugged if you want this to work. (Yes I tried audio.channel()). The other drawback is if the player goes into lock or sleep mode(more than 5-10 minutes) the application won't work. Note: If the alarm goes off or not you hold the home button to disable the application. http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/4601/85098709.png |

If i can get ahold of the source ( or if someone would like to decompile it ( currently my decompiler is not working right)) then i will change the accelerometer to work with the newest version

I would'v liked the source just because it would be alot simpliar to change a couple lines.
Anyway i finished a new version , the player make a noise at a high frequency when moved now, i am just tweeking the accelermeter right now, when finished i will upload it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Oh and by the way it is pretty loud. |
it doesn't work on my Zen... :-(
is it possible to update it for the latest firmware? |
It should very well be possible to do it, I don't have the source code though, but I think jbob might, above post suggests he at least has modified it once before.
