Car charger for E2?
Thank you very much, nice review :)

In fact I need player to my car where without looking I will be able to change song or reduce/increase volume.
4GB is a lot of space, I used to use 256MB player where I could put ~45 songs, so compare to this 500 songs it's a huge number of songs.
I don't need FW/Voice recording... screen would be nice since I sometimes put on song list audiobooks or language lessons mp3 files, but I believe it's not a big deal since I can navigate through folders in E2 and I can group my files into separate folders I think.

BTW. Do you know if it's possible to get somewhere a car-charger for this player - smth like
but with mini-jack end?

I'm not sure about chargers, but the E2 has a 3.5mm to a standard USB for charging.

There are car chargers with standard female USB ports available. It's no problem charging any USB device in a car with their original cable.

Just bought silver one with 4GB capacity :)
Also great to see that will be no problem with charging it in the car :)

Thank you Dreamnine and dfkt for your help

Just bought VAKOSS Automobile USB Charger (TP-3252-UK), this one:
Specification is similar to Cowon E2 (part about charging)
Specification VAKOSS Automobile USB Charger (TP-3252-UK):
- Input Voltage: DC 11V ~ 15V
- Output Voltage: DC 5V
- Output Current: 500mA

There is also other VAKOSS USB Charger (TP-3258-UK) on the market, but in this one it's too high Output Current equal: 800mA so it can faster damage built-in E2 battery.

No, 800mA would not damage the player in any way. If anything, it would charge the battery faster, which is better for Li-Ion batteries than a slow charge.

Are you sure? Could you give any source of that informations?

BTW. In E2 Spec-Sheet is an info that this player has Li-Pol battery not Li-Ion.

Yes, I'm sure. I'm charging all my players with a 1000mA charger, they're all fine. The player will only use as much amperage as it needs, it can't take too much. Too much output voltage is bad and will damage the player, too much amperage doesn't hurt at all.

Here's our very own battery guide: http://www.anythingbutipod.com/archi...tery-guide.php

If Li-Poly or Li-Ion doesn't matter for good charging practice, it's the same. Here's all about batteries: http://www.batteryuniversity.com/

Thanks for links.

Does anybody know what capacity (mAh) has E2 Li-Pol battery? I was unable to find that info on Cowon website :(
