Good thing they have... "Popcons". Who needs gapless, Replaygain, Last.fm scrobbling, etc anyways? :rolleyes:

Not their customer target anyway.
The U5 is the bestseller of Samsung in several countries.
Nobody is talking about it on specialized webforums like ABI or GMP3 though.
Here is the point. Why would they satisfy some demanding guys like you or me if they manage to sell thousands of U5 to the general public?
Remember, Samsung is not Cowon, they do not have a niche market....:)

And no DAP has gapless, replaygain, last.fm scrobbling features on the market.... Rockbox has nothing to do with Sandisk ;)

Yeah, I'm aware of that... the pink version of the player was a dead giveaway of their target demographic. :p

Just messing with you cause you stickied this thread with its "very important information" - knowing what kind of people frequent this forum (i.e. people like you and me). Heheh, sorry, couldn't resist. :D

BTW; my 6 year old YP-U1 is still going strong.

Have you seen the pink versions of the R0 and R1? They are the most ugly DAP on the market :D

lol People who participate to this forum are mainly enthousiasts and DAP experts like you or me who would prefer a gapless feature than a "Popcon" but people who are reading this forum may be guys who love their ipods or who would like to customize their U5 with a Hellokitty Popcon :rolleyes:

And admit my ABI Popcon is beautiful! :D
