Computer won't recognize View 16GB
I have read a lot of other posts concerning this problem but I've had absolutely no luck fixing it. I recently got a Sansa View and it has not once been recognized on my computer. Sometimes when I plug it in it will say it's installing drivers and it will say it's completed, other times it will say drivers not able to install or whatever.
Anyways, it has not once showed up in My Computer. I've installed Rhapsody, uninstalled and reinstalled, updated rhapsody, you name it i've tried it. I've reformatted the unit, tried putting it in that MSC mode and as far as I can tell it's not doing anything. I don't know what to do anymore.
I'm running on Vista also.
Possible your windows is not in good shape. Go to run then type cmd then do SFC /Scannow. If it dont help then you must repair your windows or best reinstal windows. If you prefer use a driver checker to update your drivers, this sometime can help. You can try driver genius (shareware) or freewares like slimdrivers (http://www.slimwareutilities.com/). Good luck
