lets see the code i finally figured out tables so i can probably help..... put it in a zip file and upload it

Where did you find the code? We need to get a hold of it before we can look at it and say whether or not we can port it.

just looked at the code and i think someone would be better of just reprograming it and i though bret val started that a while ago. sorry to caught up in other projects right now

Yeah I started on doodlejump some time ago, but I didn't post it since I wasn't sure if it was going anywhere, it didn't have any pictures and I still have to add all the enemies and themes. It would be great if I could use the pics from the psp game though. Whose are they? And by the way, I thought Apple sells this app, so is this copyrighted in any way? Or doesn't anyone really care about homebrew remakes..
I also gave the psp code a quick look and I agree with jbob that it would be better to just program it yourself. Although porting would be a nice learning experience, it contains over 1700 lines and at a first glance it doesn't look very optimized or efficient as well.. On top of that, the control-input of the X-Fi2 is very different. It was actually your suggestion that got me thinking about programming it, and right now it works pretty well (the jumping and movements) but I still have a lot to add to it and I'm not sure what the outcome will be.. So I'll have to see if I finish mine some day, but in the meantime if you want to port it I'd be glad to be of any assistance:) |

sigh ok have you even read this thread? Because if you have then you would know that this tread is about porting doodle jump. They are still deciding wether or not to do so. Also A doodle jump has been released already in beta form by Bret_Val.

You really should proceed making this, I would like to have it on my Xfi :D
|
Check the download section for Bret_Val's version. It's good.
