Erratic Scroll Wheel
 

It seems the scroll wheel on my much loved Insignia Pilot has become erratic ie the cursor often seems to go in the opposite direction to which it's being turned :eek: I saw this coming to be honest.

Is this something that can be easily fixed or is it time to say my good byes and that we had a good run lol

Have a scuba tank? Maybe give it a good blast.

A blast of compressed air might clean out some crud that could be responsible for the erratic behavior. I don't have a scuba tank lying around either.

I now realize what was meant. I guess I got fixated on the Scuba Tank lol While I don't have one, what I did have is one of those compressed air cans used for removing dust of keyboards etc. I went around the edge of the scroll wheel injecting air into the gap. So far it does seem that the scroll wheel has mostly lost its erratic behaviour :)
