ZVM & windows 7 - Error Code 10
 

Hey, I'm new to this site, but I hope to make use of this wonderful resource a lot in the coming months :)

For now, I would like to get my ZVM 30GB working with my new PC running Windows 7. I know that the product is no longer supported by Creative, but there's got to be a way to make it work. In the device manager, under Portable devices, I receive a yellow exclamation mark icon showing that my "MTP USB Device" is not recognized. The associated error message is:

"This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

I solved my problem by installing the newest chipset drivers from the motherboard manufacturer.

I thought that the newest windows 7 would have had the most recent ones, but apparently not, even though the manufacturer's were released in 2010.
