Screen won't work
 

Some time ago, my beloved x-fi player got into quite a bit of water. It wasn't on when this happened, i let it dry out for a week in sun before turning it on. The player seems to work, except for the screen.
So i bought a replacement screen off ebay, replaced the screen, soldered back the keypad wires that came off, soldered back the battery wires that came off, no change - everything, but the screen works.
What can i do, if anything?
