Difficulties with iRiver S100 and a Mac computer
 

My iRiver S100 arrived yesterday

It arrived with a headphones and a USB connection and no CD software.
I have done some research and I read the iRiver S100 software is only PC compatible.


I have a Mac desktop and have been advised that it can be used with a Mac. I was told that when you plug the iRiver by USB onto my Mac, the Mac will show an iRiver drive. I simply move the podcasts into the iRiver drive.

That I don't need to set anything on the iRiver. It will just do it automatically.


Unfortunately I do not see the iRiver drive on my Mac desktop - Can somebody enlighten me. I am a proud babyboomer and would be grateful for some step by step instructions.

doubt you're still around but i've never had issues with plugging my s100 to my macbook. maybe you'll have to find a windows based machine and update the firmware.
