Samsung YP-F3
After the R2 and Z3, here is the new YP-F3
Take the design of the YP-U5, take the color screen of the YP-U6, take the same UI as for the U5 and U6, take the same features including Fitness and Play & Learn, Just remove the USB key and here is the YP-F3! Tadaaaaaaaaaaam :( And finally it looks more like the U series than the F series (discontinued in 2006 with the YP-F2)
Already available as preorder on French website Matériel.net at a price of €50 for the 2GB version. |
Again, give me a micro sdhc card slot and I'd bite. Otherwise, again, I'll pass on this - ***fail!!!***

It's trying to be a competitor to the Clip+, but like DarkSide said, no expandable memory is a problem. It actually reminds me a lot of the old Sansa c2xx series. I had one of those back when I didn't know anything at all...
|
This seems kind of silly.....I'll stick with my 4GB U5. No cables required!:)

The User Manual is now available for download: http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.co...1.0_110830.pdf
Actually it's just a U6 with another design. The UI and features are EXACTLY the same, there are just a few settings removed. Hum. |
I guess I see why they refresh the look of these players, but IMO they could stand to hire a far better product designer even if they aren't going to update the software each year.

Whose in charge of mp3 player development these days, i mean seriously? Is Sansa and Apple the ONLY companies that seems to get some things remotely right these days?
I really just don't get it. |
