How to fix MicroSD slot?
 

One time when I had my Sansa Fuze+ connected to my computer I remember taking my MicroSD out and after I disconnected my Sansa that nothing shows up on my device from my MicroSD card. It says it's loading card but then it loads nothing from my card. Is there a fix for this or is it broken for good? Thanks.

Have you tried to format both the Fuze+ and the MicroSD card and starting over? First do the Fuze, then do the card via a different connection (not the fuze, card reader or a lappy w/slot). BTW use the SD formatter here.

I used the MicroSD format program when my card was in my phone and before that I formatted the main memory on my Fuze+. I copied my files back on to my MicroSD card but I lost everything on the main memory. Everything works now on my Fuze+. Thank you.

Nice to hear it's working, anytime you format you lose everything on the device but it's a great way to start fresh if you have problems. Hope you had your tunes backed up on pc if not it's a great excuse to re-rip some tunes.

If it happens again, or if others encounter the same problem...you might want to try formatting the microSD card first (in something other than the Fuze+). That might fix the problem. If it does you haven't lost the contents of the main memory. If it doesn't, you can fall back on the format both approach.
