Theories about the dead screens
 

Ok I have 2 lines dead on my P3 screen, though not totally dead...the extreme left side of these are still working!
Now here's my theory:
The second dead line is positioned at the seek and fast forward line, if I touch directly on this line nothing is changed or it will give another operation, now if I put my finger on the left side which still works and keep it on while sliding to the right...the screen works :eek::eek:
So the screen in this parts is not really dead,it's perhaps a chip in the motherboard or a screen controller that's bad instead.
Yes I have done 2 hard resets, even used the flash tool posted by Lebelium but the problem is still here, it's definitively a hardware problem but not the screen itself if you ask me ;)
What do you think?

I have a theory that it's the ribbon cables that connect the screen to the board that go bad as opposed to the screen itself. About 60% of my screen is un-usable now. Luckily I can just about select songs but it's getting worse all the time.
