Does anyone know what this folder is for?
It contains a file called, FILE0000.CHK.
The file type says recovered file fragments.

Rule of thumb: if you don't know what is is don't touch it!!!

It's created by windows.
when the filesystem gets corrupted, windows tries to recover these sectors. .chk files are these recoverys.
They include damaged files. You can delete them.
The best is way to reformat your p3 to be sure that the filesystem is corrected if scandisk failed. Format it withe the p3s internal format option.
