Photos not displaying in "Storage Media" folders
 

While examining the various folders in my Sony Walkman's "Storage Media", I noticed that none of my photos or video thumbnails are displaying as images--just generic icons--please see screenshot. Would this be a codec issue? I just installed a comprehensive codec pack & its 64-bit add-on yesterday. Can someone please advise? Thank you.
