Remote: What's it good for?
 

The remote with the screen (or without): Just curious what for you folks who have one use it? For in car use maybe? I'm sure it's great for something, not sure what... :confused:

Thanks, that sounds good. Because the H3 series short shape make it very easy to carry on belt or in pocket. Is there a clip on the remote? (long time H320 user, just now sourced a cheap remote, waiting for it to arrive in mail).

Yep theres a clip on the back.
I find the remote very useful as you can have your player safely stashed in you backpack/bag when hiking or commuting ect.

I only bought the LCD remote because it is fun, rare and to port my rockbox theme to it :D

I have that remote, and the original, specifically made for the H300 series. and not the H100 one Looks like a mini player itself!

Yeah, I posted original message before I actually received the remote in the mail. It is much smaller than I thought it would be. Once I saw how small and handy sized it is, I knew what it is for.

I keep either my H320 or H340 clipped on my belt inside a case. With the remote I clip that to my collar => infinitely handier. It's the older remote with screen display.
