Rockbox -- stay in Database view after restart
Hello all
I have Rockbox (3.12) running on my Fuze v1 and it's fantastic, except it has one annoying behaviour which I don't know how to fix. I use the Database view all the time to browse my music, and when the Fuze shuts itself off when I leave it idle it always comes back on in File view, so I have to go back a step to the main menu, then back in to Database > Artists > [Find artist] > [Find album] to get back to where I was when I originally selected the album/track that I was listening to. Is it possible to have the menus 'remember' where you were when the machine switches off, so you start again exactly where you left off? Cheers! :) |
Reading The Fine Manual Helps
Your annoyance level would drop if you bothered to do some reading
http://download.rockbox.org/daily/ma...box-build.html specifically http://download.rockbox.org/daily/ma...#x11-1460008.6. In the time it took to type this up and wait for an answer you could have resolved your issue and been back to enjoying your music. |

If I choose Resume Playback the track I was listening to resumes playback(!) which is great, but hitting the middle button goes to File view even if I got to the track through Database view. If I choose Database, the track doesn't resume (which isn't ideal either). Pressing the Home button goes to the playlist (usually an album), but that doesn't allow me to navigate up the database hierarchy. |
