Some RSS Feeds Not Working

So When testing the RSS reader on the player, some of them don't show up. I figured It was the fact that the player deletes files that are old (in my case 2 weeks). So I went and actively looked for something that was 'younger' than 2 weeks but still nothing.
The site I was attempting to test was http://www.fanfiction.net/
Is it a problem with that specific website or is there an underlying problem with the player? I also tested it on Reddit and it worked fine.:confused:

What is the rss url of the site you specified? The closest I can find is http://blog.fictionpress.com/feed/, but that works fine on my device.

This was the URL in question: http://www.fanfiction.net/atom/l/21/3/0/0/1/0/0/0/0/0/

The problem is with the Zen's rss feed importer, because my Zen cannot handle it either. The site in question is using an Atom 1.0 feed, though contains some possible compatibility issues in its source, such as:

Line 7
Code:

<subtitle/>
This field should NOT be blank.

Line 8
The link they use for 'self' is not the correct url, it should actually read:
Code:

<link rel="self" href="http://www.fanfiction.net/atom/l/21/3/0/0/1/0/0/0/0/0/"/>
Other than those two issues, it is using a valid atom feed.

Is there anyway to bypass this issue so It will work? (knowing myself, the answer is probably right in front of me and I'm just not understanding)

As far as I know, no. However, I have located the exact problem. It is the title of the rss feed. When I rename the title on my own server to just 'Doctor Who' the rss works perfectly. Also they use the tag 'summary' instead of 'content' in the feed.
