Alvin Lee Going Home
Legendary "Ten Years After" guitarist Alvin Lee has died at age 68.

Although he had a successful solo career after leaving the band, he is probably most remembered (by us old fuddy-duddys anyway) for his band's performance at Woodstock in 1969.

Here is a fittiing tribute and memorial video:

RIP Alvin . . . you will be missed. :(

So sad, RIP Alvin. :(

Tapeworm, the link you provided is one of my all time favorite concert jams, and this very jam is one of the reasons I got into Rock.

It really is a shame we are losing so many of music's greatest influences the last couple of years. Sadly, the newer generation of musicians haven't close to the talent, nor staying power. Do you really think in 50 years from now, people will still be listening to the music that is written today, or even care about the (so-called) artists?
