I think we may never know. With flash memory getting more and more popular. Once flash breaks 100GB for a fair price i think a lot if not all companies will forget about 1.8" hard drives.

I've got V-moda vibes with it and it sounds AMAZING lol. The bass is so nice with in-ear phones. I would definitely recommend relatively expensive phones for sure

If it a broken hard drive don't blame Creative as it's not them that makes them. All hard drives are very fragile and are mostly made by the same company or companies.

No you can't use it to navigate through menus....

No you can't use it to navigate through menus. All the volume buttons do while in menus is shortcut to the volume and turn the music up or down.
