i have the 5, and use my wifi for internet and pages load fine on mine. it may be slower the farther away i am from my wifi, but that's it. could be an issue with your player, did you buy it brand...

i love my samsung galaxy tab 2 7" size, i think its perfect functionality with it still being able to fit in your pocket but be big enough to play games and read webpages. :)

I have the SGP 5.0 and love that it has a camera with a led flash. i use the camera a lot so it's pretty important to me that it has a good camera.
the 5.8 is starting to disappoint me, the price?...
