Even with Rockbox I would give up on it. IMHO, the hardware design is undesirable no matter what firmware you have on it, too bulky + bad trackpad paradigm.

I was pissed off that my Fuze+ couldn't play 360p mp4 files grabbed off of Youtube. My Ipod Nano 4th generation released in 2008 could do that. I really rather not have to convert files all the time...
