Do they need to update the firmware to add glaring missing features...yes...will they now...highly doubtful...I like it for what it is but it's missing a lot of basic media...

I cannot imagine Dave would be allowed to comment on this...I'd be surprised if MS didn't release a new Zune based on WP7 but who knows....MS does not seem to have an idea of where they are going...

Update went smoothly for me...doesn't do much for you if you are having problems(perhaps call MS?) but the update worked for me and it's pretty cool
