I compiled rockbox on my own
with "arm-ypr0-linux-gnueabi-gcc (crosstool-NG 1.16.0) 4.6.3".
Rockbox say it's now version 6242d9f-121109.
The hang is now gone. ;)...

I got a working Rockbox after 5 builds.
The first 2 builds don't want to run because I used Ubuntu's default...

Exactly. Video playback needs much CPU power. It's nice when the cpu clock increases automatically to 532MHz when you need it, otherwise run with 200 MHz when you don't need it. :D
