Audio jack issues

i have owned the player for a few months so far and everything works great on it, my issue is when i have it plugged into my car radio (headphone jack) the left audio goes dead, if i twist the phone...

when your laptop is in "sleep mode" it is using less power thus allowing the usb port to go back to normal current
when your laptop is open...

from your picture, the little space on the jack that you circled will not interfere with the audio output at all, its simply a stopper preventing you from shoving the plug too far into the player...
