12V is way over the top - but I wonder, why 12V? Most iPod charger should be USB compliant (meaning 5V, 1A). I have the official Apple USB charger (5V, 1A) and use it with my Fuze all the time.

FiiO doesn't get cloned simply because it is not very profitable. First, the demand of low level portable amp in China is very small. FiiO sells a lot more amp oversea than in their home market....
