If AnitaBath's suggestions doesn't work, connect to your pc and reformat as you would for any external drive. You'll lose everything you have in the Pilot but it will restore it to it's former glory.

Great program. I use it mostly to strip audio from flv files but it does about anything you need it to. It's not free but was worth it as far as I'm concerned. Very stable, fast and reliable....
