Yes, the Zen's SD bug has been fixed (I posted a firmware update in the Zen forum). I just need to know how extensive this fix has been. Creative, too, releases firmware very often.

It didn't. The Creative 4 and 8GB have been out in the US longer than released in Europe. The Zen 16gb is only available in Singapore and Japan I think... Creative is based in Singapore.
