That's disappointing. Blacks are shown properly if you use a 3rd party player like RockPlayer though (but it stutters and isn't hardware accelerated), so I don't think there is anything wrong with...

Yes, it limits reds/greens/blues which makes up every color. AMD and Nvidia video cards have the same setting in their drivers that sometimes gets set incorrectly.

Video player's dynamic color range is off

The D3's video player's dynamic color range seems to be 15-235 rather than 0-255; anyone else notice this? It basically makes blacks look gray, even though the OLED screen can turn black pixels off....

I'm betting it's a unique Cowon OS that they use on a lot of their devices. Flash is too high level of a language to be used for an operating system.

I like BBE headset 1 for movies, and BBE Viva 1 or 2 for most music. Ironically "Viva la Vida" sounds much better with BBE Viva :D
