A few people having it running on the developers firmware on several different gen8 devices. So it can if they release it or you use the developer firmware which apparently voids the warranty.

The only thing that applies to my 43 is the camera, it is pretty much junk. MAybe that was a problem with the Android 2.1 firmware, but I never found any issues with the audio on low impedance...
