I am a programmer too, so I understand what you mean by it's working like it was designed to work so it's not really a bug. The player certainly has more support for audiobooks than most mp3 players...

It would also be nice if there could be a single button bookmarking feature. On my other mp3 player, you can program it to bookmark the currently playing file if you press and hold the play button...

I have been using an A-Data 8G SD Class 6 without any problems so far. (bookmarking sd cards has a bug in the naming of the bookmark but it seems to work otherwise).
