Volume Buttons Sticking

I don't know what happened but my volume buttons seems to be stuck down and they only work when I push hard.

Any ideas on how I can resolve this?

Just press the play button and it goes to either the first or a random song depending whether shuffle is on. Then press the centre button twice to go to a list of songs by the artist!
