But the main point is that Creative has no excuse for not doing the SD card function properly, if they had the XFi would have been much more worth it. In any case external storage is always better...

The Zen has the same problem eons ago, has it been fix'd? I think the SD card integration alone is a deal breaker and makes the Sansa Fuze and the D2 more worth it.
