Most of my items double as an MP3 player now......
Most of my items double as an MP3 player now... it it harder to find standalone players. I use my iPhone most of the time, but my Kindle also has that option. I miss my Clip+ though... I'm waiting...

How do you deal with cables that are too long (portable gear especially)? Specifically you. I'm looking to do something else than what I've been doing:

Clip V2 overheats when battery connected
I have a V2 clip that I used, and then one day it decided to overheat. I immediately pulled the thing apart, and tore the battery terminals to prevent further damage.
I resoldered the terminals...
