Yeah that's how I understand it - 'sync complete' means it is now downloading artist info/pics/bio etc. Leave it until it says 'connected'

Yes I imagine it is not a deliberate decision of Microsoft to not bringing the full zune experience to the world. I assume (at least in Australia) there are stupid licensing laws that make content...

Shouldn't be - I went through (before syncing the player) and fixed up all the genre tags. So each genre has a very large amount of music in it. Hmmm....very annoying!
